    At The India Story, Translate offers a range of separates ranging from Dresses, Jackets, Kurtas, Tops, and kimonos, Skirts and Bottoms. Also exhibiting is an exquisite range of cotton and silk saris which are a treasure and must-buy for any bridal trousseau. The accessory range of translate includes stoles, scarves and bags made using finest genuine leather and Ikat textiles.


    The textiles used are light weight cottons in indigo, black, white, grey, green and red colors. The collection is inspired from the traditional Ikats, beautifully fusing hand-woven traditional design of Ikat with popular uber-urban trends that makes for irresistible wardrobe essentials.


    The exhibition is on from 30th Oct to 1st Nov’ 2015 at Swabhumi, the Heritage Plaza, opposite Hyatt Regency, Kolkata. There will be live bands, art installation, craft workshops, great food, and beautiful ambience. Come and say hello.

    Translate introduces “Anthology of Green – Wear your natural instinct”, its hand woven ikat collection plunged in a rejuvenating palette of green. Green is the colour of growth and vitality, it bring us closer to our roots and strengthen us from within.   Green has a close association with nature; it evokes a nurturing instinct among us. This collection is an ode to the communion of an individual with their natural surroundings.

    What better timing than monsoon to introduce this collection when the nature is at its pinnacle of glory, the entire surrounding seems to have gone under a process of metamorphosis. It converts land into splendour and serenity. Monsoon instills the place with greenery, air freshens and dormancy is abandoned.
